This morning we sat out on our little beach just by the villa as shown by the picture. We had lots of fun splashing in the waves as on our side of the island the waves are really big and on the other the water is much more calm.
This afternoon we then went to Long Bay as it was re
commended to us by one of the locals. We got a bit lost but made it in the end! There were only 2 other people on the beach so it was very peaceful...until the Walshes arrived!! Euan and I spent ages in the water battling the waves whilst shouting and singing! Although it was very fun, it was very tiring so we had rest and played bat and ball instead :)
After another fantastic day we are now enjoying a more relaxing evening!

I was just about to go to bed but decided to take another look at your photos and there you are again with more.What a lovely surprise, I had to comment - those waves do appear to be quite high but probably great fun for you and Euan, I think I would settle for a lounger on the beach and maybe another rum punch! ReplyDeleteSounds like another great day in the sun and sea. I like the way you rest playing bat and ball! It must be nice to have calm and rough seas. I wonder which I would favour?! What no cricket theme today? Nothing to report from Godalming today apart from we had an indoor stair-rail fitted this morning so Grandad can zip up and down the stairs with ease! All ready for Christmas here with no need for last minute dash to the shops, although U Richard is going to be at his Waitrose for 7.00 am!
