Hello,
Today the boys and girls split. Dad and Euan went water skiing whilst us girlies went to a spa.
Mum and I went to the gym part first and had a workout. We then went and sat round the pool and read our books for a little while before a man came and told us we could have the massages that we'd booked a bit earlier. Mum and I felt completely relaxed after a brilliant massage! The ladies were very good and Mum said her back was clicking away. My favourite part was when they put a hot, wet towell on our backs - I thought it felt like a big warm cuddle!
Euan and Dad went to the nearby bay and by the sounds of it they had a fantastic time as well but quite a different experience to the girls. Euan really got the hang of it and managed to stay upright for a couple of minutes - the man had to stop the boat so Euan could get off!
This will be the final blog post whilst we are in Barbados (still the picture post to come on Tuesday!) as we are flying back tomorrow night so won't get chance to squeeze one in. Thank you so much for your comments; each morning I read them out to the rest of the family and we really enjoy hearing from you!

Barbados - Post 7
Hello,
This morning we went to our little beach again. We all read and then Euan and I played bat and ball. Very chilled and relaxing start to the day!
This afternoon we went on a bit of a tour of the island. We went to a lighthouse where we were greeted by a VERY VERY friendly man. He gave Mum and I flowers and showed Dad and Euan a special Bajan handshake. It was quite overwhelming but lovely at the same time!
We then went to a little fishing pier. We didn't partake this time but we watched a man catch a little one!
After that we drove to a bar to watch the sunset - one of our favourite things. It was so beautiful (a bit like Ethnik bar in Greece) and overlooked the sea near to a popular place for surfers.
Now relaxing with a rum punch and meal in. Thank you for the comments - I really do appreciate them!

Hello,
We got back quite late last night so didn't get chance to do the blog.
In the morning we went Dad, Euan and I went back to Sharkey Hole whilst Mum stayed at the villa and did a little bit of work. We messed around in the sea playing catch and 'Piggy in the Middle' which was lots of fun! We they played on the beach to dry off and made our way back.
After a spot of lunch at a place called Cutters we went to Harrison's Cave. This is one of the main attractions on the island. You go on a guided tour on a train and which takes you down into the beautiful caves. I've just included a picture from the internet so you can see what it was like:

It was incredibly beautiful and an amazing experience!
We then went to a boardwalk by the sea. Euan and I spotted a Haagen Dazs shop so of course we went in! I had cookie dough and chocolate ice-cream with oreos and chocolate drops on top! VERY tasty! We then had a drink a beautiful bar after watching the sun set. Mum had a Margarita and I had a Virgin Pina Colada whilst Dad had a beer and Euan a vanilla milkshake! As it was a Friday we went to Ostins again which is a huge fish fry. the music is very loud and everybody is dancing and eating. I had (Mahi Mahi) Dolphin and chips! It was brilliant but Euan managed to fall asleep as the table so after eating and enjoying some of the dancing we headed back!
We had a brilliant, very busy day! Thanks again for your comments!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM BARBADOS!
Hello,
First of all, Merry Christmas from the Walshes!
Yesterday we went to a beautiful cove called Sharkey Bay where the water was still and crystal clear. We spent lots of time swimming around and sun bathing.
In the evening we went to St Lawrence gap and had cocktails whilst the sun went down. We then walked along and had a gorgeous meal in a beautiful little resturant.
This morning we had a little bit of Christmas where we opened presents and had Christmas songs from YouTube on whilst we had pancakes for breakfast! We then went down to our little beach and paddled in the water. It has been really hot today but perfect for topping up our tans! This afternoon we went to Crane Beach and rented some sun loungers and did a bit more relaxing and swimming in the sea.
After a fantastic Christmas day that we definitely won't forget we are now settling down to a quiet night in with rum punch (fruit punch for Euan), tagliatelle and a few sweet treats.
Thanks again for your comments and hope you've all had a wonderful day!

Barbados - Post 4
Hello,
This morning we sat out on our little beach just by the villa as shown by the picture. We had lots of fun splashing in the waves as on our side of the island the waves are really big and on the other the water is much more calm.
This afternoon we then went to Long Bay as it was re
commended to us by one of the locals. We got a bit lost but made it in the end! There were only 2 other people on the beach so it was very peaceful...until the Walshes arrived!! Euan and I spent ages in the water battling the waves whilst shouting and singing! Although it was very fun, it was very tiring so we had rest and played bat and ball instead :)
After another fantastic day we are now enjoying a more relaxing evening!
Thanks again for your lovely comments!

Barbados - Post 3
Hello,
We've had a brilliant day!
This morning we went to the St Nicholas sugar plantation. We had a guided tour from a lady who was absolutely lovely as all the people in Barbados are! At the plantation they make rum and Mum and Dad had rum punch whilst we were only allowed fruit punch which was much nicer! We then bought some of their famous white rum :)
For lunch we went to a beautiful restaurant that looked over a popular surfing beach which was lovely.
We were then driving to the beach when Dad spotted a cricket match - seems to be a running theme in this holiday! We were welcomed by the locals so we settled down and had a drink. Mum asked a man who was playing and it turned out to be the try-outs for the Barbados national team!
We then carried on to the beach (Bottom Bay) where the waves were huge and we had lots of fun!
Now settling down to a rum punch and chilled night in after the best day of the holiday so far!
Thank you for your comments!

Barbados - Post 2
Hello,
Yesterday we went to Bridgetown which is the capital of Barbados. We looked around the markets and bought some yams which we are going to cook and try tonight! A man was selling some ice cones (a bit like slush puppies) so Euan and I had blueberry flavour and Dad had Guava. Mum went for a slice of water melon instead!
In the afternoon we tried a new beach where the sea was much calmer and followed it up having a nice meal in a resturant called Marco Polo near to where we are staying.
This morning Euan and Dad had an unexpected fishing experience. On the rocks just by our villa a man called Ricky, who we had met before, called over for them to join him. Euan caught a fish that the man called a 'high forehead!' They had a brilliant morning whilst the girlies relaxed! We then went to another couple of beaches where the waves were really high which was perfect for body-boarding! Whilst we were on the beach Dad noticed we were sitting next to the famous cricket players Michael Atherton and Nasser Hussain! We had yet another great day!
We have taken lots of pictues today but are unable to upload them. Instead when we get back to the UK we are going to do a big picture post so you can see what we got up to!
