Today we decided to go for a different walk in Parc Jaques-Cartier. This one was called Les Coulées which was flatter than the other one and a little bit shorter (10.4km/6.5 miles). There was quite a difficult hill at first but when we started to come back the other way we were walking along the river so it was flat and very beautiful with the mountains on either side. It took us about 3 hours which isn't too long but we were still very tired from the last couple of days so it felt a bit longer! Here are some pictures to give you an idea of how beautiful it was:

Thank you - didn't expect another one tonight! What a beautiful walk and what a beautiful family - aren't we lucky. I'm surprised you even attempted a walk after the couple of days you've had - and you did it so quickly. We did 5 miles the other day - started at 10.00 ish and didn't get to the pub until 1.45 - we did stop for elevenses on the way though! I'm sure you must be sleeping well with all the exercise you're getting! Looking forward to hearing what's next .... lots of love N & G xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenery, it looks so peaceful too - just how it should be for an enjoyable walk. The weather seems to be keeping fine and you all have a lovely healthy glow.
