Yesterday we went to a different beach that looked out on the third peninsula that only men are allowed on. It was really beautiful because there was a big mountain called Mount Athos in the distance. The waves were really high as it was quite windy on the beach. We were all in the sea and jumping up so the waves were crashing into our backs. It was very tiring but we all found it hilarious! After that we went round the corner to have an ice-cream but the waiter started setting the table we were sitting at and didn't really speak English so we ended up having dinner. It was really nice and we were in a beautiful area. We could see all the fishing boats coming in and then Euan spotted some octopus tentacles hanging up. It was really pretty and because it is so cheap here it didn't cost any more than eating in!
This morning we went for an early morning swim in the sea as they recomended we try the sea at different times of the day. It was very refreshing and deffinitely woke us all up!
Had a brilliant day yesterday but unfortunately we forgot to take the camera so I have a put a picture from the beach the other day and one of Euan and I playing cards this morning.

What a great time you are all having - different beaches, different swimming times and lots of ice creams and eating out. What more could you want for a relaxing holiday?! It's just what you needed Neve after all that studying. I don't mind when the photos were taken, I just like to see you all enjoying yourselves. Make the most of your last weekend - I'm sure you will. They are still promising good weather here from mid week onwards - we shall see. Uncle R & co home late last night. They unfortunately did not have a good weather holiday and are rethinking next year's. They certainly will be after hearing about your amazing holiday and weather! Have fun. ReplyDeleteThat waiter was very smart getting you to order dinner when all you went for was an ice cream,- I think that is hilarious too! It's perhaps as well the food was good and I'm sure you had loads of goodies after you meal and a great time was had by all. The photos are lovely as usual - no matter where or when they were taken we love to see them. Must go and sort the radio out so Grandpa can listen to the football match.
