Day 5

Hello,

Yesterday afternoon we went to Kalamitsi which is the other side of the peninsula to the side we are staying on. We went to a Taverna for some lunch which was absolutely beautiful. It was in the hills and we could look out onto the sea - Dad had goat and Euan and I tried some too! We then went in search of a secluded beach and we found one that we thought looked relatively empty before realising it was a nudist beach! We gave that one a miss! Instead we climbed over some rocks and went in the deeper sea - not particularly my favourite thing to do but I went in anyway :) We had given up in our search for a secluded beach so went on a busier one.Still had great fun though and Euan and I made a sandcastle (or sand-palace as I prefer to think of it!). We were very proud of it and Greek people kept coming past and pointing at it! We then had ice-cream - they have cookie dough Ben & Jerry's in Greece :D As we were walking along the street we saw a sign for "Irene's House" - we are yet to find Vilma's House!! We then had a chill out evening at the apartment and ended up giving each other foot massages with the moisturizer Mum bought!

We had a brilliant Day 5 and am sure we will have a brilliant day today as well. Hope you enjoy your trips today, thank you for your comments.

Love Neve xx

  1. I'm just back and had to check your blog even before I have a cuppa! Sounds like another great day. Think I'd pass on the goat but would like one of Irene's apartments! It looks like you are having a proper summer holiday and you all look so well and relaxed. I've had a lovely day out but the weather no match for Greece! Looking forward to hearing what you get up to on Day 6. Now for that cuppa .......... lots of love to you all from N & G xx
