Yesterday afternoon we went back to the beach! Still very hot over here and are still getting used to the heat. Our system at the moment is get to the beach, go in the sea, sunbathe and after 10 minutes go back in the sea! Where we are staying the people have left all their beach equipment so we have a lilo that I love! If you lie on it on your belly you can look through a see-through bit of plastic into the sea and look at the fish! It is very relaxing and can also be used as a mattress for sunbathing :)
In the evening we went to Porto Koufo which is a beautiful little village on a natural harbor about 5 minutes in the car away from where we are staying in Toroni. We walked along the harbor and took some pictures (below) then went for a meal. We are still adapting to the way you eat in a resturant in Greece. You choose your own table then they take your order. They then bring a basket of bread and bottle of water for the table (free!!). The food you have ordered then comes out when it is ready...the starters and main come out at the same time so yesterday mum ate her main before her starter! They then bring you the bill and free dessert. The dessert is usually a plate of fruit and then a selection of sweet things on a plate! Gorgeous :) Dad had Swordfish!!
This morning we have just been relaxing on the beach. Hopefully another post tomorrow, thank you for the comments!

All sounds and looks lovely and certainly HOT! Loved the photos too. You all look suntanned already! The restaurant etiquette sounds good - would be great for Grandad who could have his two starters at once then his free dessert! Make the most of that weather as it's very different here. Lovely and sunny this morning but has now clouded over. Hoping to get out this afternoon with Grandad to the Guildford castle grounds followed by a cuppa (and cake!). Great having your blog - certainly a change to reply at lunch time instead of midnight! Have a great time - enjoy that lilo - sounds just me!! Lots of love N & G xx

The sunshine and food are doing a good job, I guess the selection of sweet things on a plate go down well, but what will your Dad eat next! I think he gets his appetite from Grandpa! Great that you are having good weather but does it cool down at night to enable you to sleep? We are finding it a bit chilly at night now here. Looking forward to the next instalment as I'm now able to show Grandpa the blog on my phone - he loves the photos! Lots of love Grandma & Grandpa xxxx
