Hello,
Long day yesterday on the train to Budapest! The train wasn't quite what we were expecting - there had been talk of a restaurant on the train! When we were waiting on the train we even saw a man and his pet rat get on!
Finally, 8 hours later we did arrive and found our apartment though which is lovely (one of the best ones yet). We had dinner in and then got an early night as we've got a busy day ahead of us today - parliament and thermal baths :)
Unfortunately, yesterday Dad's phone broke so we are having to use Euan's Kindle for the internet so we might struggle to post (this also means no pictures). Sorry!

Glad you finally arrived and all going well. Perfect day - parliament and a swimming pool, lucky you. I saw Gary, Scott & Jenny yesterday and they were all very interested in your travels - they are even considering a inter-rail trip of their own! Love Mum xx
ReplyDeleteI guess by the time you read this you will have had another lovely day and the long train journey will be almost forgotten. Pity about Dads phone but you have done very well so far with keeping us informed so thank you for that - we will miss seeing the lovely pictures. Enjoy the next stage of your adventures I will keep looking just in case you are able to post - would hate to miss anything!!

I'm bringing up the rear again today and tonight as have been out all day in Chichester (lunch and theatre) with friends and very good it was too. Michael Ball (if you've ever heard of him!) was excellent in Mack and Mabel. What a long journey you had - don't fancy that pet rat! I'm sure you youngsters didn't take too long to recover. Look forward to whatever you can do with Euan's kindle! Lots of love N & G xx
