Traveling and the first couple of days in Quebec/Stoneham

Traveling

We traveled to Philadelphia on Sunday and we had a good flight. We watched a few movies and even had two meals! We had a six hour wait at the airport and a thunderstorm began. It delayed our plane and then the power went down at the airport. We then didn't get on the plane for anther hour so were very late arriving into Quebec. We then arrived in Quebec, all very tired, to find that our luggage had not arrived and was still in Philadelphia! We filled out some forms and then traveled to the house we are staying in at 2am Canadian time (7am English time). We had no trouble falling asleep after a very eventful day!

Day 1

Still without luggage we had to put our clothes from the other day back on. We had a look around the amazing house we were staying in and thought about what to do. We realised we had insurance and could by some essentials with it. We went shopping and all got some clothing including some posh lingerie for the ladies! Our bags finally arrived at 8pm but when we opened them some of our clothes were wet and it seemed that our bags had been sat in a puddle!

Day 2 (today)

Today we decided to go and look at a national park that is quite near to where we are staying. We had a packed lunch inside and then talked to a man about what there is t do. He recommended a couple of walks and canoeing. We are still quite tired so we decided to do the shorter of the two walks. We ended up walking up one of the hills but we didn't mind because we saw some amazing views. It was quite tiring but now we are all fresh-faced. We took some lovely photos which are below.

Lots of love Neve x

  1. What an eventful couple of days! At least you got your luggage back even if it was wet! Lovely to hear from you and those photos look wonderful - wish I was there but not with wet luggage! Hope you are all dried out by now - how nice to have some new things courtesy of insurance but you deserved some reward for all that hassle! Look forward to hearing more of adventures when you have time. Love to you all - N & G xx

The photos are beautiful with lovely smiling faces and wonderful scenery. Hope you ladies enjoy wearing your posh lingerie and that the rest of your clothes have dried out ok, and your Jack Wills gear didn't get spoiled Neve! Thank you for taking the time to keep us informed. Love to all, Grandma & Grandpa xx
