Lac Saint-Joseph - La plage

Hello,

No more problems today. The sun was shining brightly when we woke up this morning so we decided to make use of it and go to a lake. It was lovely and hot and the lake had a sandy beach which we sun-bathed and did beach activities. Euan started digging a hole and Dad couldn't help but get involved (maybe with a little persuading!) but instead we (Neve, Dad and Euan) made a castle. The castle had a moat, a drawbridge and a two tiered mound with a road and lots of castles on top. We were very happy with our creation and the moat even had water in it! Euan and I then went on a trampoline that was floating in the water. It was great fun and you were allowed to jump off it into the water so me and Euan bust some moves! Now we are just about to go and have a pizza in Stoneham after a lovely day. We didn't have our cameras today so here is a picture from the internet to give you an idea:

Thank you for the lovely comments

  1. Well Neve and Euan what a great day you had - and sunshine as well! Now I really wish I was there - a trampoline in the water - just my style! Did Mum tell you that Uncle Richard was always digging holes on the beach and wanting her to join in! The lake looks beautiful. I think you're in for a great holiday with no more mishaps as they all came at once at the beginning. It's very hot here today. I might have to sit in a darkened room and dream of that trampoline! Looking forward to your next post when you have time. Love to all N & G xx
