Vasa Museum and Stockholm

This post is for yesterday as I didn't have enough time as we got back quite late.

First of all we went to the vasa museum in Stockholm (picture above to the left) and had a guided tour in English which was very good. The vasa ship was a army boat that sank over 300 years ago and then was found about 30 years ago and brought to the vasa museum in Stockholm. You can find out more at this website: http://www.vasamuseet.se/InEnglish/about.aspx. Then after we had been to the museum and had some lunch we wandered round Stockholm itself which was very interesting but very tiring at the same time. Then we went for a pizza which was absolutely massive but very yummy! Finally after a long day we went back home and had a lovely sauna.

I will do another blog post later so speak again then. Neve x

  1. Hi Neve - well, I beat Grandma this time! Just checking the emails after Grandad sending his message and there you were! Stockholm looks lovely and so do you all. Glad you had a good time. Hope you had a nice long sleep after your tiring day and the sauna. Looking forward to hearing all about today later on. Love Nanny x
