Lake Vattern and Vadstena
Hi I thought I should do a blog post this morning for yesterday as I couldn't fit one in because we got back quite late last night.
Yesterday, in the morning I made some Swedish friends called Julia, Regina and Joanna. Joanna was my favourite because she was very kind and translated everything the other girls said into English. I had already met Julia on the first day but it was nice to see her again.
In the afternoon we went to a Lake called Lake Vattern which was partly frozern over and then went on the look at the city which to us in England would be like a town or possibly a village. It was very quite so there were hardly any people or cars around. Finaly just before we went home to a sauna and unfortunately a cold Jacuzzi bath, we went for a play in the park which was quite good fun. I should hope to do a post tonight but if not I will do one in the morning. Neve x

Glad you are enjoying yourself. It does look pretty cold there - hope you are all wearing your vests! Nice to have made some friends - have you picked up any Swedish words? It was very cold here yesterday - Grandad had about 6 layers on! Nice and sunny today so perhaps he can take one or two layers off! Enjoy your day -look forward to reading the next instalment when you have time. Love Nanny xx
ReplyDeleteHow nice for you making friends with some Swedish girls it sounds like the people are much more warm and friendly than the weather, although it doesn't seem to be bothering you at all. You're still having a great time with lots of interesting things to see and do. Does that say a COLD!! Jacuzzi bath. Our weather has improved now and Grandpa has been doing a bit of gardening. Look forward to your next post. Love Grandma xx
