I didn't have time yesterday to write a blog post yesterday so I am going to do 2 today.
During the day we went and looked at Marseille and went down to the old port where we saw a a couple that had just got married. In Marseille we had lunch at a nice resturant where we could see out onto the city. At one point an organ was playing which was lovely!
In the evening dad and I wnt to a football match where Marseille were playing the team that we watched Lyon play last holiday. At the game there was a protest going on because Marseille are not doing as well as they should be in the league. The fans did not sing or cheer the team to show they were they even booed the team/ players onto the pitch which me and dad found surprising! In the end they did win 2-0 and the fans did cheer when they scored.
We had a lovely day and really got a feel for Marseille.

Hello Neve, how lovely to read your blog. I have looked a few times during the day because I wasn't sure if you would be writing one so I was delighted when I saw this. You seem to have started your holiday very well with a wedding and a football match on the first day. I'm really pleased to read of how much you are enjoying Marseille, love grandma x
