Glorious, sunny day - about 80 degrees.
We went to Schwarzee - nearby mountain lake, about 30 minutes drive. First picture opportunity - right next to the lake.
We walked around the lake and then Euan and Neve rode down a tobbogan run.
Adjusting to the prices - 2 very small beers, 2 diect cokes : £10! and having a great time.

ReplyDeleteI hope your are enjoying your Swiss adventure in my Canton of Fribourg. We live near Morat (Murten in German) and have spent a lot of time at Lac Noir which is Schwarzee in German. The drive to the lake is interesting.
You must of course go see Gruyere and the castle there.
The best way to eat for less is to go into a coop or a migros store and buy some beer,(or wine) diet coke, bread and sausage and make yourself a picnic. It will cost you much less and there are many many places for picnics. This is what we swiss do.
