Today - scootering

Just a few lines to add to what Euan said. Today we went scootering and Dad and I did it for 1 hour and Euan did it for 2 hours!!! We had a great time and here is a picture.

Euan's blog post!

Hi this is Euan. The forcast was pointing to storms the last two days but it turned out to be hot.

Today we did some scooting on big, chunky scooters down ski slopes. There was a big drag lift that pulled you right to the top. There were 3 slopes. The man that did it also did skate-boarding lessons and in the winter skiing lessons. We think he did paragliding lessons too. From Euan :)

Petanque and the castle

Hello. I am just going to do a short blog post as we are about to play cards but this is what we did today.

First of all we went to a Petanque competition which was very French and then me and mum cycled back and had a look in the local Church; it was very beautiful.

We then went for a small walk to the castle (the picture is above) and then carried on walking back to the house. it took about half an hour and we are going to go back another day and go inside. Neve :)

High ropes and fireworks

Hello, got back at 12:30pm yesterday so I am going to write about it now instead and then do another blog post about today a bit later.

Yesterday me, Dad and Euan went to the place where we climbed the mountain because they have a high ropes course there. It was really fun and I mannaged to do all the blue course and i got half way through the red one but I had to get down; I don't mind. We then did the tubing where you have to sit in a ring and slide down a slope and then went on the scooters.

In the evening we went to a firework display. I really enjoyed it and some of the fireworks were spectacualar. Before we had a pinani and a nutella crape which was really nice. Neve :)

The lake

Hello again! Today we went to a lake and it was so hot that all of us went for a swim. There was a diving board that me, dad and Euan all jumped off. Me and Euan were really scared so we made Dad go first an then Euan went and then I went. I screemed all the way and didn't do it again but I am really glad I did it! Euan loved it and did it again and again while me and Dad swam and watched from the side. We then had an ice-cream which we really enjoyed. We had a fab day
and an't wait for tomorrow. Neve :)

A walk up the mountins

Hi. Sorry I am having to write this the day after we did it but as you can imagine I was very tired when we got back yesterday from climbing the mountain!

It was my idea to walk up a mountain because I remember the wonderful feeling we got when we got to the top of the mountain in Switzerland. This mountain was a lot steeper and harder but again when we got to the top we all felt really good and were looking forward to the down hill walk the way back. Unfortunately when we started to walk back I slipped on a stone and hurt my foot but it stopped hurting after a while and all I could think was that it was better than walking up the mountain!

First day in France and the house!

Hello again! I am so glad I will be able to share our holiday with you again via the blog. I have loved doing it over the past years and I am glad that you like it aswel.

First of all I am going to share with you some of the pictures of the house we are staying in:






(You may think it is weird to just take a picture of a cupboard but that is actually the way to get to mine and Euan's room!)

I don't know if you remember but when we were in Switzerland we went to a lido and today we have found another outdoor swimming pool which was incredibly nice because we were all hot and sweaty from the bike ride there. It was very nice and the water was cold but nice. We then went to a supermarket to get some food and as we came out we could see the mountains ahead of us. It has been hot here so hopefully when we get back we will have a nice sun tan but we will not be burnt.

Tomorrow we are going to have a walk in the mountains and probabally have a picnic wich will be nice if the weather carries on as it is. Thak you! Neve :)
